What’s it like to work with me?
I have no agenda. That’s deliberate on my part. I will never try to “get” you to do or not do anything aside from those things that fall under legal or ethical restrictions. It’s my job to work with you, not on you.
I will work with whatever you bring into the room. Who are you? What’s important to you? What has hurt you? When are you happy, sad, angry? What do you want out of your job, your relationships, your life?
Your therapy is YOUR therapy, and it’s my responsibility to help you to decide what you want out of it, and work with you to get there.
Some examples of the kind of results you may get out of therapy include:
- More effective communication — know what you want and know how to say it
- Better choices — understand what motivates you and how to get what you want
- Improved self-control — stay focused and calm in times of conflict
- Satisfaction — discover what works for you and use it effectively
